Mining ore on adbrasion and degradation lab site

ABRASION & DEGRADATION

Abrasion testing is used to measure how difficult it is to break down the ore sample particles. It measures the resistance ore has to factors such as friction, crushing, degradation and erosion. Put simply, it is a rock strength test. It is used in part to measure ore's resistance to metal release based in varying chemical and biochemical processes.
